Centred Kissez Quilt Pattern PDF
This is my third quilt making use of a collection of mostly grey re-cycled kimono fabrics. It was made to use the small (14”) width of these beautiful fabrics and larger scraps from the other two quilts. This pattern will teach you how to deal with re-cycled fabric, slippery fabric and help you to cut lengths of fabric - without dog legs! I added a simple ‘framed crossez block’ to add extra interest - the hearts of these large log cabin blocks are filled lovingly with kissez.....
Change this pattern easily by putting on more or less rounds. Keep the fabrics the same each round or vary them like my quilt. Size this quilt to suit your bed needs or your fabric lengths - be they kimonos or cotton.
This pattern also includes;
Kimono Basicz - how to prepare kimonos, using the pieces to best advantage, stitching hints and quilt styles to enable you to move on to making ‘kimono’ quilts with more complexity.
Cutting Lengths Basicz - how to prepare fabric, equipment, step-by-step folding, dealing with dog legs and fussy cutting patterned lengths.
This PDF quilting pattern includes full fabric requirements, cutting instructions and step-by-step assembly guidance. You may customise it to your desired quilt size.
