Xmas Treez Quilt Pattern PDF

Where would Christmas be without a tree and presents? These images convey the wonderful joys of giving and receiving – a big part of the season’s spirit. For those a little jaded with the traditional red and green colouration I’ve stitched quirky hot pink Xmas Treez wrapped happily in golden tinsel.

The blocks are made as rectangles, 4” x 8”, 6” x 12”, and 8” x 16” – with their length double their width. They could be embellished with buttons, beads and charms in an overblown style if that suits. They could have ribbons or rick rack inserted or appliqued. The Prezziez block adds to the theme. Even easier than the Xmas Treez to piece, if that is possible, these 4”, 6” and 8” blocks are also designed to be played with.

Consider adding name tags, button and bead embellishment or real ribbons.

Great for a wallhanging or made smaller it is perfect for a gift, as a hanging, runner or cushion. Greet the season with creative cheer!
