Heartz Quilt Pattern PDF
I’ve made quite a few Heartz versions but the one pictured here is probably my favorite. It’s as colorful as love is with its bright blues, hot pinks, bitter yellows and jealous greens, but your version may be simply sweet baby pastels or the autumn hues of a country love.
In true Stargazey style you will be working from easily cut squares and rectangles - no templates, no foundations, no exact 1/4” seams or perfectly matched corners are needed in these blocks. I give you the ‘recipe’ for 4”, 6”, 8”, 10”, and 12” blocks. Choose any size block, any size quilt, or any combination of sizes to work into any setting. Design the quilt of your heart’s desire. Your heartz may be cut from the same fabrics or mixed scrappy pairs. Your backgrounds could be one constant fabric or you could cut many backgrounds and stitch together pieces at random for a multi colored look. Make your quilt as individual as you are with this easy method.
I have included photos of other Heartz versions as well - Carmen Miranda eat your heart out, Adam and Eve’s Recipe, Sealed with Love and Kissez & My Heartz a pumping to the Calypso Beat....
This PDF quilting pattern includes full fabric requirements, cutting instructions and step-by-step assembly guidance. You may customise it to your desired quilt size.
