Dogz Quilt Pattern PDF

I’m a dog lover and have two dogs yet I’ve put off designing a dog block for the simple reason that there are too many varieties, each with their distinctive features. If I couldn’t risk offending Rocket and Celeste by not making one of them my muse, what about the others Chalkie, Eric and Marley? All too hard. In the end I’ve plunged in and created a set of ‘pointy’ dogs heads with enough variety of block sizes and body widths to fill a kennel.

The main show of character though, is in the ears. The easiest ears are sewn in and pointy but the excitement is in the three dimensional - these flappy ones are made to suit the look of your favourite pooch. Varying the eyes and fur also should be enough to have appropriate representation of a fair proportion of our canine buddies. I think I’ve got a fair dog show of coverage! If you have a round-faced dog I suggest adapting the Catz pattern with appropriate dog earz. Catz could make nice bulldogz!
